The little Green Bean

Don't you just love getting new fabric? I swear I have more fabric than I know what to do with, but I can't resist getting more. Especially when fabric designers release their newest lines! Recently I discovered this darling fabric by Kelly Parker Smith. She is a wonderful fabric designer for Sweet Bee Fabric Co. Be sure to check them out they carry some of the cutest designs around. Recently I made a fabric map from Kelly's newest line called Windsor Garden

This line is truly adorable and I could think of a million projects to make with it! I decided to make a fabric map, because well I can not get enough of them! I had so much fun cutting each state and deciding which print would go next. My favorite part of making maps is piecing them together!

Once I decide on all 50 states, then I iron them down to the fabric back. Here I choose a pretty white linen from Joanns.

Once they are all iron into place I topstitch the entire map. I like to use a contrasting thread, I use black. It really makes each state pop.

Start planning to take back your day now!

I get it, I have been there. I know what it's like to be completely overwhelmed, overworked and just plain tired. I had days where I had no idea how I would come out ahead. My lists were so long they seemed impossible. But I am here to tell you, they don't have to be. You can get it all done, you just have to learn how to break it down and prioritize, even when everything seems like a priority!
